CVMA 32-6 Supports Wreaths Across America

Chapter members participated in the annual Wreaths Across America ceremonies at the Marana Cemetery, laying wreaths on the graves of  veterans. Many of our members made individual donations to help make this event possible. 
​  
Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization, coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington Cemetery and over 1,200 addtional locations in all 50 U.S. States, at sea, and abroad.

Members Support VFW 5990 Marana in raising funds for local Wreaths Across America ceremony

Members joined with VFW 5990 Marana to raise nearly $4,000, enough to place wreaths on the graves of every veteran in the Arizona State Veterans Cemetery in Marana, Arizona.  ​a


Chapter donates monthly bus passes for residents of Kennedy House in Casa Grande

Chapter members donated the cost of 3 monthly bus passes to newly-employed residents of Kennedy House, a veterans transitional living facility in Casa Grande.  The passes cover transportation to and from work during the first month of employment. ​a

Chapter members travel to Prescott, AZ for 2017 State Rally
September 8-10, 2017

Chapter members gathered at the historic Hassayampa Hotel in downtown Prescott for the annual AZ State Rally. Activities included several rides to local points of interest, taking in Whiskey Row, a gourmet Saturday evening meal, Full Member and Auxiliary meetings on Sunday, and plenty of time for catching up with old friends and new from across the state. A huge thank you to Prescott chapter 32-3 for hosting the event!  ​a

Chapter launches "Reactionary Force" Team providing Short-Notice Escorts and Military Honors for Veteran Funerals

Chapter "Reactionary Force" members are on call for short-notice burial and interrment services for veterans who are homeless or have no family in attendance. Members provide military honors as well as video of the service delivered to family members across the U.S. in cooperation with local CVMA chapter members in the family's home area. ​a


CVMA 32-6 Escorts Service Member Returning from Deployment

Chapter members joined the Elks Lodge riders of Casa Grande to provide a motorcycle escort for a female airman returning from deployment to Afghanistan. A celebration and family reunion followed at Pinal County Veterans Center.

CVMA Chapter 32-6 Established in Casa Grande, AZ

A contingent of CVMA members from AZ Chapter 32-2 broke off to form a new Chapter serving the veteran community in the area of Casa Grande, AZ. Chapter 32-6 was officially recognized on May 2, 2017.
